From Waste to Fibre to Yarn

Our Manufacturing Process

Every step is optimised for quality, energy efficiency, and minimal environmental footprint.

PET Collection & Sorting

Post-consumer PET bottles and industrial PET waste are collected, sorted by colour and grade, and inspected for contaminants at our intake centre.

Washing & Flaking

Sorted PET is washed in hot caustic solution, label-stripped, and granulated into clean PET flakes using precision shredders. Flake quality is tested for IV (intrinsic viscosity).

Extrusion & Spinning

Clean PET flakes are melted in the extruder at 280–290°C, filtered, and extruded through spinnerets to form continuous filament tows.

Drawing, Crimping & Cutting

Tows are drawn to achieve target denier and tenacity, crimped to specification (8–14 crimps/inch), and cut into the required staple length (32–64 mm).

Fibre Finishing & Baling

Fibre is treated with OPU finish for antistatic and spin-ability, dried, lapped, and baled in 200 kg bales for dispatch.

Yarn Spinning & Dyeing

RPSF bales are blended on blow-room lines, carded, drawn, and ring-spun into yarn. Dyed lots are processed through our in-house HT dyeing machines with colour-matching lab.

Winding, QC & Dispatch

Yarn is wound onto barcoded cones, subjected to final QC (count, tenacity, elongation, unevenness), packed in moisture-proof bags, and dispatched with test certificates.
